Project Water – SNAP North Toronto

Project Water

It’s vital that Toronto’s less fortunate have access to clean fresh water to stay hydrated in the heat. Enter Project Water, a volunteer organization committed to keeping Toronto’s homeless hydrated. Project Water’s 14th Annual Summer Campaign kicked-off last month with hundreds of volunteers and front-line relief workers combining efforts to distribute bottled water to thousands of Toronto’s homeless. Founded in 2000 by Jody Steinhauer, President of The Bargains Group, Project Water addresses a serious health concern affecting those living on the streets of Toronto – dehydration. What a great effort for a worthy cause.
